In late May and early June I spent a few weeks editing the opening and closing sequences for Bound By Blue, an independent feature film shot here in Melbourne.
Director David Hawkins and producer Kate Talbot have taken a unique approach to the edit, using five different editors to assemble the film, and a sixth editor for the compile and fine cut.
The main four character arcs were edited by Eddie Mayler, Bec Haining, Rob Nairn and Sasha Dylan Bell. I took care of the opening and closing sequences which are 'group' scenes involving all the characters. David Hawkins is now in London working on the fine cut with editor Tommy Meadmore.
